Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Pricing works on a per-meter basis and combines two choices. First, you pick a package: Base or Advanced. Second, your price falls into a size band set by your meter count. The Small band covers up to 50,000 meters. The Large band covers over 50,000 meters. So four options exist: Base Small, Base Large, Advanced Small, and Advanced Large. You multiply your per-meter rate by your number of meters. As your meter count crosses 50,000, you move into the Large band for your chosen package.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one meter for billing on SEW SmartCX?
Pricing is charged per meter, meaning each utility meter you serve counts as one billable unit. You multiply your per-meter rate by the total number of meters. Your total meter count also decides your size band: up to 50,000 meters uses the Small band, and over 50,000 uses the Large band.
What is the difference between the Base Package and the Advanced Package?
Both are billed per meter and cover the same size bands. The Base Package includes core customer experience and self-service tools. The Advanced Package adds capabilities such as AI-driven analytics, energy and water disaggregation, and demand response features. Contact the vendor to confirm the exact feature split for each package.
What happens to my price if my meter count grows past 50,000?
Your per-meter rate falls into a size band set by your meter count. Up to 50,000 meters uses the Small band. Once your count crosses 50,000, you move into the Large band for your chosen package. The band applies to your meter total, not just the extra meters.
