You buy this product as separate modules under a contract, each billed by requests. ParEnt Core is mandatory and provides the parenteral and enteral nutrition calculation tool. You then add clinical area modules based on the patient populations you treat: Neonatal, Pediatric, and Adult. Two workflow modules extend the platform further: the Pharmacy module supports prescription validation and preparation, and the CCE module adds its own function. You select only the modules you need alongside the required Core, and each is priced independently by request volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one 'request' mean for billing across the modules?
Each module is billed by requests. A request maps to a prescription or calculation processed through that module. The Core handles the nutrition calculation, while area modules process requests for their patient population and workflow modules process pharmacy or CCE requests. You are billed per module for the requests it handles.
How do the module charges combine on my bill?
Each module is priced independently by its own request volume. The mandatory Core always applies. Any clinical area or workflow modules you add bill separately by their requests. Your total is the sum of request charges across the Core plus the modules you selected. Modules you do not select add nothing.
If I treat more patient populations, how does my cost change?
You add the matching area module: Neonatal, Pediatric, or Adult. Each added module bills separately by its request volume. Adding a population is a manual selection, not an automatic upgrade. The Core and any existing modules keep billing on their own request counts. Only the new module adds charges.
