This contract bills across five separate units. You buy Government Employee Seats in blocks of 100 users, with a minimum of 100. You buy Public Seats in the same 100-user blocks. Two add-ons scale with your employee seats: 8X5 Level 2 Email Support per 100 employees, and an Infrastructure Tier. If you purchase either add-on, its quantity must match your Government Employee Seat count. Special Requests are bought separately in 1,000-hour units for custom work. You combine these units to match your agency's user counts and service needs. Hosting is included in the subscription.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is the difference between Government Employee Seats and Public Seats for billing?
Both bill in blocks of 100 users per unit. Government Employee Seats cover staff who administer regulatory functions and require a minimum of 100 users. Public Seats cover external users, such as citizens or businesses, who access the platform. You count each seat type separately and buy the matching number of blocks.
How do the two add-ons combine with my Government Employee Seat count?
Both add-ons must match your Government Employee Seat count if you buy them. The 8X5 Level 2 Email Support unit provides upgraded support per 100 employees. The Infrastructure Tier unit provides upgraded infrastructure per 100 employees. You cannot buy fewer add-on units than your employee seat blocks.
What does the Special Requests unit cover and how is it counted?
Special Requests are bought in blocks of 1,000 hours. This unit covers custom work outside standard seat and infrastructure charges. It is billed independently of your seat counts, so you buy only the hour blocks you need. Hosting and standard infrastructure are already included in your subscription.
