Data stays in customer AWS account for complete privacy
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay based on usage, with two kinds of dimensions. User dimensions count your people across four size brackets: 0-10, 10-50, 50-100, and 100 plus. Within each bracket, you are billed separately for total users and active users. As your team grows into a higher bracket, you report users under that bracket's units. Two message dimensions bill your report delivery volume: one counts WhatsApp messages sent, the other counts email messages sent. These usage-based charges apply independently based on what you actually use.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is the difference between total users and active users in each bracket?
Total users counts everyone registered under your account in that bracket. Active users counts only those who actually use the app during the billing period. Both are counted separately per bracket, so an inactive registered person still adds to total users but not to active users.
How do the WhatsApp and email message charges combine with the user charges?
All charges bill independently and appear together on one invoice. User bracket units meter your workforce size. The two message dimensions meter report delivery volume separately, one per WhatsApp message sent and one per email sent. Higher delivery volume raises the message charges without affecting your user counts.
What happens to my user charges when my team grows past a bracket size?
You report users under the bracket that matches your team size. As your workforce grows into a higher bracket, you report those users under that bracket's units. Each bracket has its own total and active user counts, so charges shift to the applicable bracket units.

CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Install the product from marketplace.
The installation will initiate the stack formation process.
The process prompts the user to enter a 6 to 8 digit word representing the Company or Team name, besides selecting the VPC and subnet to be used.
Keep the company name tag globally unique, to avoid auto paddding during deployment. the name tag is used to create the sub-domain assigned to your FieldReports portal URL.
The deployment process will create the FieldReports Stack. This takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes. During this process the following sub tasks are executed:
Stack resource creation as per cloud template.
Issuing SSL certificates for your unique domain.
You will receive emails indicating the start of the process and final completion, once SSL setup has ended, with credentials to login to your portal. Please refer website https://fieldreports.io for updated documentation.
