AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Try this product free for 30 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you run this software on. The product supports Web Application Firewall throughput up to 200 Mbps. Pricing is not tiered by feature. Instead, you pick from many AWS instance sizes across compute, memory, storage, and accelerated families. Larger instances carry more CPU, memory, or specialized resources and bill at their own hourly rate. Your total cost scales with the instance you select and how many hours you run it. Choose the instance that matches your traffic and performance needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Am I charged when an instance running this software is stopped or paused?
The software meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped or terminated instance does not accrue hourly software charges. Note that AWS may still bill for underlying storage or other resources tied to a stopped instance, but the software licence itself counts running time.
What does the 200 Mbps figure in this listing refer to?
The 200 Mbps is the Web Application Firewall throughput this edition supports. It caps the rate of application traffic the firewall inspects, not the number of instance-hours you buy. Your hourly bill still depends on which EC2 instance type you choose to run.
If I switch to a different EC2 instance type, how does my bill change?
Each instance type carries its own hourly software rate. When you move to a different size or family, billing switches to that instance's rate for the hours it runs. There is no upgrade fee. Your total cost tracks the instance you select and how long you run it.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
