Usage instructions
It is important to have the following configured in advance: *A running AAP/AWX Controller Server *A properly configured SSL certificate on your AAP/AWX Server, the Event Driven Ansible Controller does not like self-signed certs. If a self-signed is being used then the Certificate Authority for your org needs to be loaded in to the EDA server in a custom created decision environemnt. To launch your EDA server for the first time, perform the following: *Open a web-browser on any device, and use either the DNS/Public IP address for your ec2 instance. This will display a web-page showing your EDA instance which is in first start-up mode that is waiting to be initalized, and will allow you to monitor the first time setup process. *Next using the the EC2 Instant-Connect tool or another SSH client, SSH into your ec2 instance as the user: ec2-user, and run this command sudo bash /root/eda_pod_initializer_check_v2.sh *The initial setup process should take about 10mins, the web-browser should change with the EDA login screen once everything finishes setting up It is recommended that in order to run the Event-Driven-Ansible controller efficiently that you have your EC2 instance have no less than 4GB of RAM, at least 2-CPUs, and have no less than 60GB of storage, at the bare minimum.
