This plan bills on a usage basis, tied to the number of Workflow Runs. You pay for what you consume rather than a fixed subscription. A workflow is a managed cloud deployment where you create, destroy, or redeploy Infrastructure as Code resources. Charges accrue as you run these workflows across your organization. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose between; the single metric scales directly with your run activity. The more Workflow Runs you execute, the higher your usage charges.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Workflow Run for billing?
A workflow is a managed cloud deployment, similar to a workspace or stack. It represents a logical unit where you create, destroy, or redeploy Infrastructure as Code resources. Each execution of that workflow counts toward your usage. You accrue charges as these runs happen across your organization.
Can I run many workflows in parallel without hitting extra charges or limits?
There is no artificial cap on parallel runs. You can scale executions to match your team's deployment pace. Your charges still track the number of Workflow Runs you execute, so more parallel activity means more billable runs, not a separate concurrency fee.
Does a destroyed or inactive workflow still generate usage charges?
Charges track Workflow Runs you execute. A workflow becomes inactive when it is destroyed or manually marked inactive, and no new run is happening. Any new change returns it to active status and triggers a new run. Idle workflows with no runs do not add run charges.
