AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Muvi Flex pricing has two parts. First, you pick one contract tier: Standard, Professional, or Enterprise. Each tier includes a set monthly allowance of bandwidth, storage, and encoding. The allowances grow as you move from Standard to Professional to Enterprise. Second, four usage-based charges apply when you exceed those allowances or use extra services. You pay per GB for added bandwidth, added storage, and added encoding. You also pay per view for DRM, the content protection feature. This lets your costs scale with actual usage beyond the included amounts.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one DRM view for the per-view charge?
DRM stands for digital rights management, the content protection feature. You pay once each time a viewer starts a protected video. Each playback session counts as one view. The charge applies per view on top of your tier's included allowances.
What happens if I exceed the bandwidth, storage, or encoding included in my tier?
Each tier includes monthly allowances for bandwidth, storage, and encoding. Once you pass an allowance, overage charges apply per GB for that resource. Only the amount above your allowance is charged. Each resource is metered separately, so exceeding one does not affect the others.
How is my bandwidth usage measured for billing?
Bandwidth is measured by total data streamed to viewers. It depends on video file size and the number of viewers. A one-hour HD video uses about 2GB per viewer. Multiply file size by viewers to estimate consumption. Charges apply per GB above your tier allowance.
