Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.

You pay by the hour for each running instance, with no upfront commitment. Pricing scales with the EC2 instance type you choose. Each listed dimension maps to a specific instance size, from small shared-CPU types to large memory-, compute-, storage-, and GPU-optimized machines. You select the size that fits your workload, and the hourly rate reflects that machine's capacity. Larger or specialized instances carry higher hourly rates. Your total cost depends on which instances you run and for how long. The rate covers the vendor's support and hardened Go on Amazon Linux 2023 software.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for a given instance type?
Each unit is one running EC2 instance of the size you pick, billed per hour. The rate covers the hardened Go on Amazon Linux 2023 software plus vendor support. You pay separately for the underlying AWS compute. Larger or specialized instance types carry higher hourly software rates.
Am I charged the hourly software fee when my instance is stopped?
The software fee meters running time only. A stopped or powered-off instance accrues no hourly software charge. You may still owe AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped, but that is an AWS charge, not the software rate.
What support is included with the hourly rate?
Your hourly rate includes vendor support through email, phone, and chat. The team aims to respond within 24 hours. Support covers the hardened software stack, which uses industry hardening frameworks such as STIG and NIST. Support scales with whichever instance types you run.
