A node is a single member server in the resource pool that forms your cluster. The Management Server allocates approved nodes to build a cluster for your use. Demo Cluster1 gives you one node, Demo Cluster2 gives three, and Demo Cluster3 gives five, all in US West (Oregon).
How do the three demo cluster options differ in what I can test?
Each option differs only by node count: one, three, or five nodes. The distributed architecture spreads query work across nodes in parallel. More nodes let you evaluate how the system scales horizontally and handles larger data volumes. Fewer nodes suit a lighter evaluation. All run the same in-memory engine.
Are these demo clusters meant for production workloads?
No. All three are demo configurations for testing the data warehouse before wider deployment. They let you evaluate the distributed in-memory engine and query performance.
