You buy WAF Monitoring based on how much web application firewall data you send each day. Three package sizes set your daily data allowance: WAF Small covers 70 GB per day, WAF Medium covers 168 GB per day, and WAF Large covers 280 GB per day. These are not feature tiers. You get the same monitoring capabilities in each; the only difference is the daily ingest volume you commit to. Pick the size that matches your expected daily data throughput. Your usage counts against this daily quota, which renews each day during the contract term.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts against my daily GB quota for WAF Monitoring?
Your quota measures the volume of web application firewall data you send each day. The platform converts ingested data into units based on how you route it across pipelines. Usage counts against your daily allowance and the quota renews each day.
What happens if I exceed my daily data allowance?
You get an email alert at 80% of your daily quota. You can enable Pay-As-You-Go to keep ingesting up to twice your daily amount, billed at the Pay-As-You-Go rate. If you hit the quota without acting, data pauses until 00:00 UTC, when it releases automatically.
Can I lower how much of my quota WAF data consumes?
Yes. You route data to different pipelines based on use case. Frequent search indexes data for fast queries and uses more quota. Monitoring and compliance pipelines use less quota per GB. This lets you reduce consumption while keeping data accessible.
