Pre-configured Virtuoso Multi-Model DBMS (Enterprise Edition) that provides immediate access to a modern, high-performance, and secure platform for knowledge graphs, database management, and data integration.
Cloud Hosted Pay-As-You-Go edition of a High-Performance, Scalable, Secure, Platform for Data Access, Integration, Virtualization, and Native Data Management (Relational Tables and RDF Graphs).
This particular cloud edition includes an unlimited license with CPU Affinity pegged to the host AMI Instance Type. Meaning, costs increase on a CPU Affinity basis for an unrestricted number of users (or connections).
Highlights
Effortlessly launch Virtuoso - a fully integrated, multi-model DBMS with zero build overhead. Immediate deployment enables frictionless onboarding and rapid value realization.
Unlock high-performance, secure, and standards-compliant multi-model (tables and graphs) data access, integration, and management with enhanced support for SQL, SPARQL, GraphQL, ODBC/JDBC, HTTP, and MCP - fortified with fine-grained, attribute-based access controls.
Leverage advanced Data Virtualization, Replication, and Integration capabilities - delivering the critical infrastructure for developing, deploying, and using Large Language Model (LLM)-based AI Agents and Assistants that are loosely coupled with Data Spaces (databases, knowledge bases/graphs, filesystems, and APIs).

Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for each running instance, with no upfront commitment. Pricing follows the EC2 instance type you choose across the m3, m4, r4, r5, and x1e families. Each family offers several sizes, from large through 32xlarge. Larger sizes carry more CPU and memory and bill at a higher hourly rate. The software license is bundled into the hourly charge and covers unrestricted users, with CPU capacity tied to the instance size. To scale up, you select a bigger instance; to reduce cost, you choose a smaller one.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the bundled license cover, and does the number of users affect my hourly cost?
The included license covers an unlimited number of users and connections. Your hourly cost is not driven by user count. Instead, CPU affinity is tied to the instance type you select, so the size of the instance sets both capacity and price.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
The software charge meters running instance-hours. When you stop or power off the instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Underlying AWS storage for the attached volumes may still incur separate fees while the instance is stopped, since that storage remains provisioned.
How do I move to a larger or smaller instance if my workload changes?
You select a different EC2 instance type from the m3, m4, r4, r5, or x1e families. Larger sizes add CPU and memory and bill at a higher hourly rate. After changing size, adjust the buffer settings in the configuration file to match available memory.

Delivery details
64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
This is a maintenance release that includes enhancements and minor bug fixes across:
Virtuoso DBMS Engine Core
Web Document, Data, and Application Server
SPARQL Query Processor
Data Transformation Middleware Layer
Faceted Search and Browsing
Virtuoso Authentication Layer (VAL)
HTML-based Admin Interface
OpenLink AI Layer (OPAL) Add-on
This release continues to enhance Virtuoso as a foundation for advanced AI solutions (e.g., Smart Agents or Assistants) aimed at mitigating hallucinations (imprecision) through Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), driven by secure and high-performance coupling with internal and/or domain-specific knowledge graphs using SQL, SPARQL, SPASQL, or GraphQL.
Additional details
Usage instructions
