    MCP

    Overview

The Outreach MCP Server connects AI assistants and agents to your Outreach AI Revenue Platform, enabling natural-language access to accounts, prospects, opportunities, sequences, emails, calendar events, Kaia call recordings, and users — all under the signed-in user's identity and permissions.

    Prerequisites

    • An active Outreach license with API access
    • An MCP-enabled client (Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT/Codex, AWS or any MCP-compatible AI agent)
    • OAuth 2.1 Dynamic Client Registration

    Connection setup

    1. In your MCP-enabled client, add a new MCP server connection.
    2. Enter the server URL: <https://api.outreach.io/mcp>
    3. Sign in with your Outreach credentials when prompted. The OAuth 2.1 flow redirects you to Outreach for consent, then back to your client.
    4. Authorize the requested scopes.

Once connected, the AI agent can discover and call Outreach tools on your behalf.

    Capabilities

The server exposes tools across these domains:

    • Search and retrieval — accounts, prospects, opportunities, sequences, mailings, calendar events, Kaia call recordings, users
    • Workflow actions — add prospects to sequences, log activities, update opportunity stages, create tasks
    • Discovery — list opportunity stages, sequence templates, available users

All actions run under the authenticated user's Outreach identity and respect their role-based permissions.

    Example prompts

    • "Help me prepare for my next call with Acme"
    • "Generate a best practice guide for each feature discussed in the last meeting with Acme"
    • "What sequences from our customer conference have the best reactions, and what are they?"
    • "Tell me Contoso's concerns around our solution and how I should combat that?"

The agent plans, calls the right Outreach tools, and returns results.

    Authentication

    • OAuth 2.1 Dynamic Client Registration
    • Sessions remain active as long as refresh tokens are honored by your Outreach instance
    • All requests run on behalf of the signed-in user — no shared service accounts

    Known limitations

    • Write operations are subject to your Outreach role-based permissions
    • Rate limits follow standard Outreach API quotas

Good for consistent sequences, but notes and updates can be frustrating

    Reviewed on Sep 23, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It made my outreach much more consistent. I also like the templates, email scheduling, and open rates tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often an update is required, and the notes aren’t particularly clear. Link activity also can’t be clearly attributed, for example when a colleague is CC’d and clicks the link. Real-time notifications, notes management, and drag & drop are frustrating for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My outreach became much more consistent.

Outreach makes outbound prospecting and pipeline management easier than ever

    Reviewed on Sep 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The bi-directional sync between Outreach, Salesforce, and Orum makes it extremely easy to manage call tasks, outbound emails, and overall pipeline. The multichannel sequences made my outreach much more consistent and made a world of difference in my outbound strategy. The AI assistance for meetings and conversations was extremely useful, and the deal and pipeline insights were very reliable and extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
None! I have no issues with Outreach. It's always been reliable for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me generate new pipeline, manage open opportunities, and prevent business from stalling. It also made my outbound strategy much more consistent.

Efficient CRM with Sleek Interface, But Limited Dialing Capabilities

    Reviewed on Sep 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the ease of use and the user interface; it was a very sleek system. I found the AI implementations useful and appreciated how easy it was to add or delete prospect data and mark numbers as bad or good. The initial setup was very easy, which was a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only being able to dial one prospect at a time was difficult for the team. It would be useful if Outreach implemented a dialer portion of their product set. Additionally, on Outreach, you can only track metrics, but you can't send LinkedIn messages or sequence in the same way as with Nooks, which was a limitation for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach efficiently manages prospect data, handles engagement, and facilitates calls and emails. Its user-friendly interface simplifies adding or deleting data, marking contact numbers, and enhances workflow with AI. A minor challenge is dialing one prospect at a time.

Great for scalable, consistent email sequences, but CRM integrations can be painful

    Reviewed on Sep 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Manually sending and following up on dozens or hundreds of emails is unsustainable, so I really value the automation. It lets me send personalized sequences at scale, and the tracking tools tell me which messages are actually landing so I'm not flying blind. It also made my outreach much more consistent, and the AI guidance or follow-up is sometimes useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations silently fail, and duplicate contacts get created, which makes attribution harder to track. Diagnosing the failure often requires digging through logs neither team fully understands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made my outreach much more consistent. I can send personalized sequences at scale and use tracking to see which messages are actually landing.

Easy-to-share sequences that make outreach much more consistent

    Reviewed on Sep 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach made our outreach much more consistent. Sequences are easy to use and share across the whole team. We specifically work with school districts, so the AI is helping us prospect and keep track of turnover. The Outreach AI sometimes gives clear feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI doesn't always connect, and overall the AI outputs feel only moderately accurate and consistent. I also haven't used deal insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My outreach is much more consistent, and it’s helped with prospecting and keeping track of turnover in school districts.
