A hectare is a unit of land area equal to 10,000 square meters. You are billed for the total habitat area you enroll for monitoring. The count reflects the ground footprint covered, not the number of data layers or reports generated for that area.
How does my cost change if I expand or reduce the monitored area?
Cost tracks the number of hectares under contract. Adding more habitat area raises your total in direct proportion. There are no tiers or step boundaries, so each added hectare is billed at the same per-hectare rate. Changes to area coverage are handled through the contract arrangement.
What monitoring capabilities are included in the per-hectare charge?
The per-hectare charge covers Earth Observation-based monitoring of the enrolled area. This includes tracking forest cover loss, canopy thinning, and habitat fragmentation over time. Fire-risk indicators and change detection support enforcement and restoration workflows across the land you monitor.
