Mission Cloud Secure combines CrowdStrikes best-in-class detection and security capabilities with Mission Control, our cloud services platform. By integrating your security tooling and AWS operations, Mission Cloud Secure ensures your environment is protected at every layer - from application to infrastructure.
Mission Cloud Secure is a comprehensive security platform built for AWS environments. Whether it is threat detection, configuration management, or incident response, you will have what you need to address vulnerabilities and improve your overall security posture.
Endpoint Detection & Response
With both agent-based and agentless scanning, you get application layer security for workloads across traditional infrastructure, serverless environments, and containers while maintaining a security posture that scales from lone individuals to nation states.
Integrated Intelligence
Correlate cross-domain intelligence and telemetry to create a single console for investigations, detection, and response.
Credential & Authentication Security
Combine intelligence from identity providers like Active Directory and Okta, segment and correct over-privileged accounts, enforce MFA when suspicious activity is detected, and monitor the darkweb for stolen credentials.
CVE Detection & Patching
Prioritize and predict which vulnerabilities are most likely to affect your organization so you can patch and remediate them effectively.
NG SIEM
Combine 3rd party and on-premise data with logs from your AWS services and CrowdStrike sensors to supercharge detection, simplify logging, and save cost over legacy SIEM providers.
Mission Control for Environmental Observability and Infrastructural Health
Visualize AWS resources and infrastructural health while tapping into AWS native services, like Security Hub and Trusted Advisor. Score your environment against the well-architected pillars, visualize its health over time, and ensure your operations and security are aligned with AWS best practices.
Your Compliance Obligations
Get built-in, unified compliance reporting for frameworks such as PCI, SOC2, NIST, HIPAA, and others to identify resources out of compliance, fix them, and ensure your environment remains documented and audit-ready.
Highlights
24/7 incident monitoring, integrated across AWS and on-premise resources.
Unified compliance reporting to help you meet and manage audit requirements across all major frameworks.
Security controls that integrate with AWS native security tooling to maximize your protection.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Mission Cloud Secure is a managed security service billed on a yearly contract. You pay a base Cloud Secure Platform Yearly Fee for platform access. On top of that, you pay usage charges tied to your monthly AWS spend. A monthly minimum tier covers spend up to 10k. Additional usage tiers step up as your AWS spend rises: 10k-20k, 20k-50k, 50k-100k, and beyond 100k. As your AWS spend grows, you move into higher usage tiers, so cost scales with the size of the environment being protected.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
How is my usage tier decided each month, and does the tier apply automatically as my AWS spend changes?
Your usage tier tracks your monthly AWS spend. You fall into the tier that matches your spend band, from the monthly minimum covering up to 10k, through the 10k-20k, 20k-50k, 50k-100k, and beyond-100k bands. As your AWS spend rises or falls, you move between tiers based on that spend.
Do I pay the platform fee and the usage charge together, or is one included in the other?
You pay both. The Cloud Secure Platform Yearly Fee is a base charge for platform access. Separately, usage charges apply based on your monthly AWS spend tier. The two are billed independently and both appear on your invoice. The platform fee stays fixed while usage charges shift with your spend.
What does the managed service cover for the price, and what remains my responsibility?
The service delivers 24/7 managed detection and response, endpoint protection, threat hunting, and a unified security platform for visibility and reporting. It supports compliance frameworks like PCI, HIPAA, and SOC2. However, the vendor handles engineering tasks tied to compliance, not your internal business processes such as incident protocols or documentation.
