AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This managed service uses a base platform fee plus usage tiers that scale with your monthly AWS spend. You pay the Cloud Operate Platform Fee as a fixed base charge. On top of that, usage is billed across tiers: the Minimum Tier covers AWS spend up to 10k, the next tier covers 10k to 80k, another covers 80k to 250k, and a final tier covers spend above 250k. As your AWS spend grows, you move into the matching tier. The platform fee applies regardless of which usage tier your spend falls into.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Do the usage tiers apply to my whole AWS spend, or only the portion within each tier's range?
Each tier corresponds to a band of your monthly AWS spend. As your spend grows, you move into the matching tier for that range. The Minimum Tier covers spend up to 10k. The next bands cover 10k-80k, 80k-250k, and above 250k. Movement into a tier follows your actual AWS spend level.
What does the Cloud Operate Platform Fee cover, and does it change with my AWS spend?
The Platform Fee is a fixed base charge for the managed service. It applies regardless of which usage tier your spend falls into. It covers the monitoring platform, 24/7 alert response, and operational management. Your usage tier charge is separate and scales with your monthly AWS spend.
What is included in the managed service beyond the platform fee and usage tiers?
You get around-the-clock alert response following co-developed runbooks, routine updates and patching, and a monitoring platform that Mission configures and maintains. You also get a Technical Account Manager, Service Desk Engineers, and Cloud Operations Architects. Designing or implementing new infrastructure falls outside the service and uses separate professional services.
