The Enveil ZeroReveal solution allows entities to securely derive insights, cross-match, and search third-party data assets at scale without ever revealing the contents of the search itself, compromising the security or ownership of the underlying data, or exposing the requesting party's interests or intent.
Powered by Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), Enveil ZeroReveal enables organizations to securely and privately query data from other entities while ensuring that the content of the search, analytic, or machine learning model, and their corresponding results, are never exposed. By keeping sensitive search terms encrypted throughout the entire processing lifecycle, Enveil allows users to perform Trusted Compute in Untrusted Locations in order to securely derive insight from third-party data sources, even when using highly sensitive or regulated indicators.
The NIAP/CSfC-certified ZeroReveal solution facilitates encrypted search using a two-party system consisting of (1) the ZeroReveal Client application and (2) the ZeroReveal Server application. The ZeroReveal Client application lives within the Enterprise trusted environment while the ZeroReveal Server application lives within the environment of the Data. The Enveil solution is completely API-based and gives users the ability to perform secure searches and analytics without disrupting their normal workflow:
Enveil ZeroReveal application encrypts the search containing sensitive or proprietary indicators in the secure environment.
The ZeroReveal Server application executes the encrypted search without ever decrypting anything in the third-party data location, produces encrypted results, and sends those results back to source.
Within the secure environment, the ZeroReveal Client application decrypts the results and returns them via API to the point of origin.
The solutions leverage breakthroughs in homomorphic encryption (HE) and secure multiparty computation (SMPC), both pillars of the PETs category.
Highlights
The business-enabling and privacy-preserving capabilities provided by Enveil change the paradigm of how and where organizations can leverage data to unlock value.
Customers can extract insights, cross-match, search, and analyze data assets at scale without ever revealing the content of the search itself, compromising the security or ownership of the underlying data, or exposing their interests and intent.
By decoupling from the storage technology layer, Enveil is able to deploy above the data, allowing organizations to retain control of their data assets while leveraging existing storage methods and access controls mechanisms. The deployment model is optimized for highly distributed, decentralized multi-party, and/or hybrid cloud deployments.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses one usage-based pricing dimension. You pay by the hour for running the ZeroReveal Client on a c5.4xlarge instance. Your cost scales with how many hours the instance runs, so there is no upfront commitment or fixed term. The Client application sits within your enterprise and works as part of a two-party, proxy-layer system that performs encrypted operations. Because billing is hourly, your total depends entirely on runtime. To scale, you run the instance longer or add more instances, each billed at the same per-hour rate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What compute resource do I get when running the ZeroReveal Client on the c5.4xlarge instance?
You get the ZeroReveal Client application running on a single c5.4xlarge instance, a compute-optimized instance type. The Client sits within your enterprise and acts as one side of a two-party, proxy-layer system. Your hourly rate covers that instance running the software. Larger workloads mean longer runtime or more instances.
Am I charged when the c5.4xlarge instance is stopped or powered off?
Software charges apply per hour while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Note that stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes. The software license meters running time only, so your total tracks actual runtime.
How do I scale capacity if my encrypted search or analytic workload grows?
Because billing is hourly and usage-based, you scale by running the instance longer or by adding more instances, each billed at the same per-hour rate. The software supports distributed, decentralized, and hybrid deployments, so you can expand across data sources without pooling data. There is no upfront commitment or fixed term.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
ZeroReveal Client will not provide encrypted search functionality without downloading the ZeroReveal Server app as well. ZeroReveal Server is distributed as RPM and deb packages, so deployment is a straightforward process consisting of
Launching the AWS instances that will host ZeroReveal Server and supporting services,
Securing access to the instances, and Configuring ZeroReveal Server to read the data, connect to supporting services, and accept queries from ZeroReveal Clients.
This process is described in detail in the ZeroReveal Compute Fabric Manual. Please contact Enveil Support for help integrating the ZeroReveal Server App.
