Installed as an EC2 instance, the Collabora Online CODE server it is used as a WOPI client for JSAPP.CLOUD hosting and web application development platform. Integrated with the WOPI server it offer office documents edit and preview for the Web Drive interface of JSAPP.CLOUD. This implementation uses a Nginx Web Server as proxy for CODE services and a Discovery service that check automatically integrate the server with the JSAPP server in same VPC.

The options range from t3.small through t3.medium, t3.large, t3.xlarge, and t3.2xlarge. These sizes differ in CPU and memory capacity. Larger instances handle more users or heavier document editing loads. Your hourly cost scales with the instance size you select. There are no tiers or feature add-ons — the only variable is the compute size.

Each t3 size sets the CPU and memory allocated to your server. t3.small has the fewest resources, scaling up through t3.medium, t3.large, t3.xlarge, and t3.2xlarge. Larger sizes support more concurrent users and heavier document editing. You choose one size and pay its hourly rate.
The software itself is free, so no software charges apply at any time. You pay only the hourly AWS rate for the running instance. A stopped instance stops accruing hourly compute charges, though AWS storage fees for attached volumes may still apply.
You move to a larger t3 size, from t3.small toward t3.2xlarge, to gain more CPU and memory. This change is manual — you select and launch the size you need. Your hourly cost then reflects the new size. Only one size runs and bills at a time.

The Collabora Online CODE offers WEB online Office Documents Editors using WOPI client for file access integrations with third party file storage solutions. This AMI server release it it configured to work with the JSAPP.CLOUD in the same AWS region VPC.

Usage instructions
Install the product from the AWS Marketplace into the same VPC as your JSAPP.CLOUD instance, set the same "App configuration", default is "firstapp". The CODE server will discover your working JSAPP server and configure itself automatically.
