     Info

    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you choose to run this WordPress image. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance size, so pricing scales with the compute, memory, and storage of the instance you select. Smaller instances like t3.nano or t2.micro carry lower hourly rates, while memory-optimized and metal instances like r6idn.metal cost more per hour. The software runs the same across all sizes. You add the software fee to the underlying AWS infrastructure charge. Billing flows through your existing AWS account with no separate contract.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

One unit is one hour of a running EC2 instance carrying the WordPress image. Each instance runs WordPress on a hardened Ubuntu base with Apache, PHP, MariaDB, phpMyAdmin, and SFTP access. The software is identical across every instance type. Only the compute, memory, and storage of the chosen instance change with size.
The software fee meters running instance-hours. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume while the instance is stopped. Charges resume once you start the instance again.
Both charges apply per running hour and add together on one invoice. The software fee covers the WordPress image; the AWS charge covers the underlying instance compute and storage. Larger instance types raise both amounts. Billing flows through your existing AWS account with no separate contract.
