The Lobster Data Platform is a powerful, nocode integration solution that can be used to configure, control and automate digital business processes. Seamless data integration between different systems, formats and applications is possible without any programming effort. Its modern, browserbased user interface allows users to develop, manage and monitor interfaces intuitively, particularly in the context of electronic data interchange (EDI) with business partners.

The Lobster Data Platform offers codefree data integration, combining process automation, data visualisation and data management in a single solution on a platform with various tools. The solution is a platform independent system that is operated as a server. It is browser based, allowing multiple users to work with the server at the same time. A database is connected to the platform, which serves as a repository for user data, developed profiles, etc. At its core, the platform is based on a clearly structured, sixstep processing model: data is received, parsed, mapped, compared with databases, converted into target formats and then sent. The Lobster Data Platform supports a wide range of structured file formats and common communication protocols.

Routine tasks such as converting, validating, routing or mapping data can be fully automated. Each process step can be configured in a modular fashion, visualised graphically and monitored at any time without any programming knowledge. The platform offers transparent visualisation and traceability of all data flows. Fine grained user, role and company management enables precise access control. At the data level, individual business objects can be modelled and managed, including status management, change tracking and a graphical editor. The possible applications range from classic supply chain management and shipping and procurement platforms to the control of internal processes, the creation of customer portals and tracking & tracing. Lobster Data Platform complies with current security standards: These include encrypted data transmission, rolebased rights management, versionable configurations and comprehensive logging.

Lobster operates particularly well within supply chains connecting every supplier, system and trading partner, across any format or protocol, so your operations keep moving. Todays supply chains depend on constant communication. Manufacturers, logistics providers, retailers, and distributors all rely on data moving accurately and quickly between systems, partners, and platforms. When that flow breaks down, the consequences are immediate: delayed shipments, inventory errors, missed production targets, and teams stuck fixing problems manually. The challenge isnt just outdated internal systems. Its the growing network of external partners carriers, suppliers, customers, and brokers all working with different data formats, technologies, and timelines. Every new relationship or requirement adds complexity. Over time, that complexity slows operations and increases risk. Lobster simplifies this environment.

The unified Lobster data integration platform connects your systems with your entire partner network, ensuring information moves seamlessly between ERP, TMS, WMS, ecommerce platforms, and external partners. Whether data comes through EDI, APIs, legacy formats, or modern cloud systems, Lobster translates and automates it, so your teams dont have to.

When a new carrier or supplier comes onboard, you can connect them quickly without long development cycles. When data changes or disruptions occur, the platform detects the issue and triggers the appropriate response automatically, helping prevent delays before they impact customers. This creates greater visibility, eliminates manual processes, and builds a more resilient operation. Your teams stop chasing information across emails and spreadsheets. The focus shifts to running and growing the business. From manufacturing plants to warehouses, from distribution centers to retail networks, Lobster ensures your data works as smoothly as your supply chain needs to.

    Highlights

    • Connect any system, partner, or protocol without writing code. Lobster supports 90+ pre-built connectors for WMS, TMS, PIM, and business applications, plus EDI and API management in one platform. Handle any format your partners use - EDIFACT, VDA, IDOC, XML, JSON, and more - over protocols like AS2, SFTP, HTTP, Kafka, and MQTT. Onboard trading partners faster with self-service tools and standardize processes without replacing existing systems.
    • Build, customize, and deploy integrations with full visual control. Lobster's drag-and-drop interface lets your team create data flows, modify workflows, and go live in days instead of quarters - without consultants or custom code. An AI Co-Pilot assists with building, debugging, and documenting integrations. Deploy on-premises, in your cloud, on Lobster Cloud, or in a hybrid setup, and migrate between environments anytime.
