Lumos is the first Autonomous Identity Platform that gives IT and security teams complete visibility and control over every identity and their access across all applications-automatically. Today's enterprises manage an average of 650+ apps and face a 50x increase in both human and non-human identities. Traditional tools-manual reviews, scattered dashboards, endless tickets-can't keep up. Lumos unifies your identity landscape into one intelligent platform that discovers, analyzes, and governs access at scale.
- Full Visibility Across Your Stack See every user, app, and entitlement-who has access, when it was granted, and how often it's used. Lumos connects to SaaS, cloud, HR systems, and on-prem to eliminate blind spots and support real-time decision-making in minutes, rather than months or years.
- Autonomous Policy Management Powered by Albus AI Agent, Lumos continuously analyzes attributes and usage to recommend policies with document-backed reasoning. It enforces least-privilege access dynamically, revoking unused access without manual work.
- End-to-End Lifecycle Automation Automate full identity lifecycle with provisioning, transitions, and deprovisioning across every app and system. New hires get the right tools on day one, and leavers are fully offboarded without gaps or risk.
- Continuous Risk Monitoring With Albus, detect orphaned accounts, excessive permissions, and compliance violations. Dashboards, audit-ready reports and alerts keep security teams ahead of threats with the ability to act instantly.
- SaaS License & Spend Optimization Auto-discover shadow IT and identify unused apps, overlapping tools, and inactive licenses. Lumos helps teams cut costs, reduce SaaS bloat, and shrink the attack surface-without spreadsheets or guesswork.
- Self-Service Access Employees request access directly via Lumos AppStore or Slack/Teams. Approved requests are auto-fulfilled-cutting down IT tickets and boosting productivity from day one.
Lumos modernizes your identity governance with a dynamic, event-driven model. Access policies adapt and evolve with your org, roles, and risk profile-without constant tuning. AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract pricing starts with the Lumos Core Platform as your base subscription. You commit to it for the contract term you select. Two add-on dimensions let you expand user coverage beyond the base. The Additional User Per Year option bills each extra user across a yearly term. The Additional User Per Hour option bills each extra user by the hour. Both add-ons scale with the number of users you cover, so you pay in line with how many people need access. You combine the core platform with whichever add-on matches your billing preference.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one user for the Additional User add-ons?
A user is one identity that needs access managed through the platform. This covers employees, contractors, and partners who request or hold app access. Each person you cover adds one unit to your add-on count, so billing tracks your total covered headcount.
How does the Additional User Per Hour option differ from the Additional User Per Year option?
Both add extra user coverage beyond the Core Platform. The Per Year option bills each added user across a yearly term, suiting stable headcount. The Per Hour option meters each added user by the hour, suiting short-term or fluctuating access needs. You pick whichever billing rhythm matches your workforce.
How do the Core Platform and add-on charges combine on my bill?
The Lumos Core Platform is your base subscription and always applies. Each add-on charge stacks on top, scaling with the number of extra users you cover. Your total combines the base plus your chosen add-on multiplied by covered users. The add-on typically drives changes as your headcount grows.

Exceptional Support and Huge Time Savings with Lumos

What do you like best about the product?
First off, the Lumos team is the best to work with! I was considering Lumos in a previous role, and while we weren't able to implement it there, I went back in my current role and they quickly connected me with the right team to get Lumos implemented. We are not a huge organization, but we still have a dedicated CSM, monthly calls with that CSM, a Slack channel for support with Lumos, and product calls with Lumos leadership. The Lumos team is very receptive to feedback and it's been great to see changes that we requested included in the product over our time.
Re: the Lumos product, though, I can't speak highly enough! We use Lumos today for SaaS usage reporting for spend management, identifying shadow IT, managing agreements, and access reviews. We're also in the process of implementing for onboarding and offboarding, and we're very excited to make both significantly less work on the IT team for our daily processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that Lumos doesn't offer today is an easy way to track month-to-month subscriptions, agreements based on usage (i.e., agreements that don't have specific spend commitments), and perpetual licenses
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos has allowed us to better take advantage of our SaaS licenses and identify areas of over-licensing and shadow IT that both cause spend drain. Additionally, while we haven't yet implemented onboarding and offboarding, both will save *huge* amounts of time on the IT team

Lumos Automates Access Requests and Saves Us Time
Reviewed on Dec 14, 2025
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Lumos has streamlined our application access request and approval workflow. This is a huge time saver for my team, as the process has automated what was originally a manually ticketed activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found any significant downsides. One challenge within the access reviews module is the occassional app that has no available API integrations, but this is not a Lumos constraint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation in handling a large volume of application access requests with approvals. Providing a ticket audit trail of the above. Role based access request/approval and time-boxed privilege escalation (sometimes for very short time periods). Application access review automation.

What do you like best about the product?
Lumos provides excellent visibility and control over user access across applications, which makes identity and access governance much simpler and more efficient,The UI is clean and intuitive, and workflows like access provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access reviews are easy to manage even at scale.
What stands out most is how Lumos helps reduce security risk by identifying unused or excessive access and streamlining offboarding processes. The integrations with SaaS applications work smoothly, and the automation saves significant time for IT and security teams while improving compliance and audit readiness.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, there are no major dislikes. Lumos meets our current requirements well and has been reliable, intuitive, and effective for access management and governance. Our overall experience with the platform has been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos solves the challenge of managing and governing user access across multiple SaaS applications by providing centralized visibility, automation, and control. It helps identify over-provisioned, unused, or risky access and streamlines onboarding, role changes, and offboarding workflows.
This directly benefits us by reducing security risk, improving compliance, and saving significant operational time for IT and security teams. Automated access reviews and deprovisioning ensure least-privilege access, while real-time insights improve audit readiness and overall access hygiene.

Effortless Integration, Stellar Usability
Reviewed on Dec 09, 2025
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the experience itself and the usability of Lumos. It's user-friendly, and we don't receive many support requests about it. We just need to teach the users how to use it initially, and then they learn by themselves. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the current integrations lacking. Right now, we can integrate SaaS vendors inside Lumos for people to request access, but I think Lumos should add AWS, GCP, and Azure. Because Lumos doesn't provide access to AWS, GCP, or Azure, we also use EnTitle for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lumos improves the speed of processing access requests for specific applications, enhancing efficiency.
