Overview
Huawei OceanStor Pacific SDS is a next-generation software-defined storage solution designed to meet the growing needs of enterprises for managing massive data and diverse workloads.
This platform is characterized by a distributed and scalable architecture, allowing for easy expansion of capacity and performance by adding nodes. The abstraction of the underlying hardware offers increased flexibility in hardware selection and reduces dependence on a single vendor.
The main advantages and features of OceanStor Pacific SDS include:
Unified architecture for multiple workloads: it supports various data types (block, file, object, and Big Data) on a single platform, simplifying storage management and reducing data silos. Massive scalability: the platform is designed to scale horizontally, enabling the management of petabytes of data and billions of objects. High performance: It offers high performance in terms of throughput and latency, optimized for demanding applications. Storage efficiency: features such as deduplication, compression, and thin provisioning enable optimization of storage capacity utilization and cost reduction. Robust data protection: it integrates data protection mechanisms such as replication, snapshots, and erasure coding to ensure the availability and integrity of information. Simplified management: a centralized management interface facilitates the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of the entire storage infrastructure. Integration with the Huawei ecosystem: it naturally integrates with other Huawei solutions and services. In summary, OceanStor Pacific SDS positions itself as a modern and versatile storage solution, ideal for enterprises looking to consolidate their storage infrastructure, efficiently manage their massive data, and benefit from a scalable and high-performance platform. It emphasizes efficiency, reliability, and simplified storage management in increasingly complex environments.
