BackEngine makes your internal customer and prospect data safe and ready for AI.

It brings together information from calls, emails, support tickets, messages, and your CRM; organizes it into connected customer knowledge; and controls what each person can access. Your team uses that knowledge inside AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.

Your company already has the knowledge AI needs

Why is a deal stalled? What did we promise a customer? Which product problems keep coming up?

The answers are scattered across your systems. A call explains the problem. An email adds a commitment. A support ticket shows what happened next.

BackEngine connects those pieces so your AI can work from the relevant customer history.

We make that data ready for AI

BackEngine reads the customer and prospect information already available in your connected systems.

It cleans, deduplicates, and connects the people, accounts, and conversations that belong together.

It organizes that information before anyone asks a question and keeps it updated as new information arrives. The context stays connected to its supporting sources, so authorized users can inspect the evidence.

Your AI gets organized customer knowledge it can use to answer questions and complete work.

You control how that knowledge is shared

Customer information can be useful across your company without every conversation being available to everyone.

Your team uses it inside their AI tools

BackEngine sits between your business systems and the AI your team already uses.

Sales can prepare for prospect meetings.

Customer success can investigate renewal risks.

    Product can understand recurring requests.

Leadership can review patterns across the business.

Each person works from the customer knowledge they are authorized to use.

BackEngine prepares your customer and prospect data for AI and gives your company control over who can use it.

    Highlights

    • Clean data from every customer interaction your team has had. BackEngine cleans and joins the records. Customer information arrives in different formats, with duplicate records, long email threads, and inconsistent names. BackEngine removes noise and duplicates, matches people and accounts across systems, and connects related conversations and records. A prospect's sales call, follow-up email, and CRM record become connected parts of the same relationship. Organized information, proactive agents
    • Robust user level access control. When someone asks a question, BackEngine controls what level knowledge they receive. Access can depend on the accounts they're allowed to see, the sensitivity of the information, and whether they can receive approved insights, underlying sources, or both. For example, an account owner may be allowed to review a customer's emails, while a product teammate receives an approved insight about a product issue without access to those emails. Your company defines it.
    • You save thousands of dollars per employee. Both in token spend and license consolidation. Context that arrives clean and organized is cheaper to reason over - and the savings compound across every seat, every ask. The same AI output takes 81% fewer tokens, leading to ~$2,500 / user in savings per year. Customers report saving tens of thousands of dollars on licenses and tool consolidation, since not everyone needs CRM or other advanced tier tools to get insights on the data.

    BackEngine
The customer-context layer for your revenue team available to any MCP client. What is BackEngine?BackEngine is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that ingests all of an organization's customer and prospect communications Slack threads, emails, call and meeting transcripts, and support tickets and distills them into structured, queryable context. Raw conversations are processed into signals (categorized, attributed moments), sources (the underlying transcripts, emails, and tickets), and rolling project overviews, all isolated per tenant and scoped by role and access controls. The MCP server exposes this layer over the Model Context Protocol, so an LLM client can query customer signals, reconstruct context, prep for meetings, surface at-risk accounts, and draft grounded outreach from real conversation history without leaving the chat.

    Dimensions summary

BackEngine is sold as a contract priced in units. Your cost is based on the size of your customer graph, meaning the number of customers and prospects you track, not how many people use it. Seats and AI agents are included, so adding team members does not raise your price. Billing scales with the volume of customers and prospects in scope. You can start with a free proof of concept to confirm the right starting point before committing. Pricing is scoped during setup based on your workflows and tracked accounts.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

A unit maps to the size of your customer graph, meaning the number of customers and prospects you track. People logging in do not count. Seats and AI agents are included at no extra charge, so adding team members does not change your unit count.
Adding people or AI agents does not raise your cost. Seats and agents are included. Your price moves only when the number of customers and prospects you track changes. So headcount growth and heavier usage do not increase the bill on their own.
You tell BackEngine how many customers you manage and what you want AI to do. BackEngine recommends a starting point and scopes a free proof of concept using your own workflows and data. This lets you confirm fit before committing to a contract.
