The HashiCorp Security Lifecycle Management portfolio works together to reduce risk and manage operations at scale. By enforcing identity-based security, centralized control, and automated lifecycles HashiCorp's SLM portfolio can help organization reduce their attack surface at scale by restricting access, reducing time-to-live, removing visibility, and identifying exposures.
The HashiCorp SLM portfolio consists of three (3) products: Vault, Boundary, and Consul.
(1) Vault, HashiCorp's industry-leading secrets management solution, allows companies to secure discovered secrets and manage their lifecycle.
(2) Boundary furthers an organization's identity access management capabilities by facilitating remote access to infrastructure resources. By injecting dynamic credentials from Vault, Boundary can provide just-in-time access to human and machine identities.
(3) Consul discovers and authenticates services for service discovery and service mesh use-cases. By integrating with Vault, Consul helps facilitate secure communication between services by generating TLS certificates.
Highlights
- Identity-based security. Authorize and authenticate every access request based on identity. Built for dynamic infrastructure.
- Centralized control. Use a system of record for security policy and enforce consistency regardless of environment.
- Automated lifecycle. Scale your security with automated creation, expiration, and rotation of secrets, time-to-live, and access.
