AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. All 22 dimensions bill the same product, secured and supported by Hossted; they differ only by compute capacity. The t2, t3, and t3a options cover general-purpose burstable instances, from medium up through 2xlarge sizes. The m3 and m4 options cover fixed-performance instances, ranging from medium up to 16xlarge. Larger instances carry higher hourly rates because they provide more CPU and memory. Your cost scales with how many hours you run and which instance size you choose. No upfront commitment applies.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one billing unit cover for these hourly instance dimensions?
Each dimension bills per hour for one running EC2 instance of that size. A single instance counts as one billing unit. If you run multiple instances, each accrues its own hourly charge. The instance type you pick sets the CPU and memory you receive and its hourly rate.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
Hourly software charges apply only while an instance runs. A fully stopped instance does not accrue software fees. Underlying AWS storage or other resources tied to a stopped instance may still bill separately under standard AWS charges. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
What support is included with this product?
The product is secured and supported by Hossted. Support covers troubleshooting, usage and adaptation guidance, and issue isolation. Availability, response times, and channels vary by the support plan you arrange. For exact plan details tied to your usage, contact the vendor.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
