    What Is Kubernetes?

    Kubernetes (K8s) is an open-source container orchestration platform originally designed by Google and now maintained by a worldwide community of contributors under the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. It automates software deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads and services. Kubernetes supports both declarative configuration and automation, making it a portable and extensible platform for managing applications of all sizes.
