- Alternative Formats: Provide all learners with access to content with a range of formats by automatically generating a number of alternatives for the instructors original. Anthology Ally has the broadest set of alternatives to deliver inclusive digital experiences and empower learners choice, providing 9 alternative formats such as Semantic HTML, Audio (mp3), ePub, Electronic Braille, BeeLine Reader, OCR PDF, Tagged PDF, Immersive Reader (by Microsoft), and Translated Versions into 76 different languages;
- Instructor Feedback: Guide teachers and curriculum creators on the accessibility of their content and how to fix course accessibility through built-in feedback. Also, the Instructor Feedback for the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) feature provides real-time scoring and feedback in the course content editor, allowing instructors and content creators to make immediate modifications to course materials while benefiting from Allys real time scoring and instant feedback. Only through the WYSIWYG Content Editor provided by Ally, instructors can solve issues in real-time frame within Rich Text editors. - Checking and Scoring: Ally checks for common accessibility issues by running the file content through an automated accessibility checklist in real-time, going from high-level checks to very fine-grained checks. It also has a number of additional accessibility checks to target usability and quality of the course content, and uses a set of Machine Learning Algorithms to determine how structured and readable the content is and to give an accessibility score to the file.
- Built-in Feedback: Ally helps instructors to become aware of how accessible their content is and what some of the accessibility issues are, as well as getting detailed guidance on how they can fix these issues, all within the context of the Learning Management System. What do you like best about the product?
I could attend class from home instead of driving to campus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the internet connection, the host would cut off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved the problem of not being able to attend college classes during COVID-19. I could also meet with my classmates on Blackboard collaborate for over 45 minutes, and not have to worry about a specific license.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Blackboard Collaborate is how easy it is to host meetings with students. It is easy for both the educator and student to use.

I do not have any issues with Blackboard Collaborate.

Students need to meet to go over different questions. This tool allows us to meet easily and quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
BB Collaborate has always been easy to use and navigate. Faculty and students can upload and retrieve materials with ease. It is also easy to find their way around. Also, very conducive to uploading materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recordings are not easy to retrieve. May also consume a lot of battery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perhaps in editing and splicing videos, as well as with sound quality, so that they will be conducive for my classes and especially my students. Also, matters like integration during discussions and log-in may affect the quality and quantity of student participation.

-New sessions sometimes take a long time to load.

It allows teachers in my institution to set up, teach, record, and share online lessons. Recordings are hosted on Blackboard itself and can be easily accessed and download.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the classroom board tool, which makes it easier for those who learn graphically. It allowed me to draw an image or do a quick calculation.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there was no app or software, the thing I disliked the most was trying to edit a meeting after it had been scheduled. Sometimes, I had to delete the planned meeting and create a new one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Covid-19 pandemic meant that we had to change the way we operate. Hence, BB Collaborate assisted in communicating with different members of the team off-site. It also helped in conducting training sessions.
