AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay by the hour based on the AWS EC2 instance size you pick, with no monthly subscription. All 19 options run the same Magento 2.4.6p3 Open Source deployment and bundled aMiSTACX modules; only the underlying compute size changes. Three instance families are offered: t3 for lighter or burstable workloads, m5 for balanced compute and memory, and c5 for compute-heavy needs. Within each family, larger sizes add more CPU and memory and cost more per hour. You start and stop anytime, and billing ends when you stop the stack. AWS hosting charges are separate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get for the hourly rate on a given instance size?
You get a turnkey Magento 2.4.6p3 Open Source deployment with all bundled aMiSTACX performance and business modules, plus the A51 monitoring and control dashboard. The instance size you pick sets the CPU and memory. For example, a t3.xlarge handles about 100 unique visitors per 15 minutes at light load.
Am I charged when I stop the stack?
No. Billing for aMiSTACX services ends when you stop the stack, since charges accrue per hour of running time. You are not locked into a monthly subscription. Note that AWS hosting charges are separate and may continue for storage even when the instance is stopped.
How do the aMiSTACX hourly charges combine with my AWS costs?
Two separate charges apply at the same time. The aMiSTACX per-hour software rate covers the deployment and modules. AWS bills you directly for the underlying EC2 hosting. Both track the running instance, so larger instances raise both. You can reduce the AWS side with reserved pricing.

AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

We saved a lot of time and money by using this package. It's very easy to setup and configure. The performance is great!
Note, we did receive an error attempting to deploy to North Virginia, but selected OHIO as a workaround. This is not an amistacx issue, but AWS. aMiSTACX support says they opened a case to resolve.
