This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for AMI packaging, automatic per-instance TLS configuration and setup documentation. Software Sushi packages Gatus v5.37.0 on Ubuntu 24.04 for endpoint monitoring and status reporting on Amazon EC2. Gatus supports HTTP, DNS and TCP checks and stores monitoring history in SQLite. Gatus is developed by TwiN and licensed under Apache-2.0; this offering does not imply upstream endorsement.
Launch on t3.medium with at least 16 GiB of encrypted root storage. First boot creates an instance-specific self-signed TLS certificate and credentials for basic authentication on the statuses API. Gatus listens on 127.0.0.1:8443. Access the status page through AWS Systems Manager Session Manager port forwarding. This access requires an SSM-enabled instance role, connectivity to SSM endpoints and operator permissions; CLI port forwarding also requires the AWS CLI and Session Manager plugin. The self-signed certificate is not automatically trusted by browsers.
Configure monitored endpoints in /etc/gatus/config.yaml. The bundled documentation covers endpoint configuration, backup, restore and reverse-proxy placement. The default checks target local services; configure your own endpoints for ongoing monitoring.
The standard software fee is USD 0.02 per running t3.medium instance-hour, subject to the AWS Marketplace offer terms. EC2, EBS and data-transfer charges are billed separately. See the offer terms for applicable billing promotions.

Gatus on Ubuntu 24.04 with Per-Instance TLS - Software Sushi
This listing uses a single usage-based price tied to one Amazon EC2 instance type, t3.medium, billed per hour. You pay the software charge for each hour the instance runs. There are no tiers or quantity commitments to choose between. The AMI launches on Amazon EC2 in your own AWS account, so AWS infrastructure, storage, networking, and data transfer bill separately from this software charge. Any outside model providers or messaging services you connect also carry their own costs. Pricing scales simply with how many hours you keep the instance running.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for the t3.medium hourly charge?
The charge covers the software packaged into the Amazon Machine Image running on one t3.medium EC2 instance. This includes the pre-installed, security-hardened Ubuntu 24.04 setup with the monitoring tool ready to configure. You add your own credentials after launch. The instance has 2 vCPUs and 4 GiB of memory.
Am I charged when the EC2 instance is stopped?
The software charge meters running time, so a fully stopped instance stops accruing it. Separate AWS fees still apply. Stopped instances keep their attached storage, which bills under AWS storage pricing. Networking and data transfer are also billed by AWS and are separate from this software charge.
What costs are not covered by this software price?
The hourly software charge does not include AWS infrastructure such as EC2 compute, EBS storage, networking, and data transfer. Those bill separately through AWS. Any outside model providers, messaging platforms, or other connected services you add after launch charge for their own usage under their own accounts.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
