SignServer Enterprise Cloud Edition - Premium Support
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing bills the Premium Support add-on by the hour, matched to the EC2 instance size you run. You pick an instance type, and the hourly rate reflects that machine's compute capacity. Options range across several instance families, including general-purpose and burstable types in large, xlarge, 2xlarge, medium, and 2xlarge sizes. Larger instances carry higher hourly rates because they offer more compute resources. Pricing scales with the size and family you choose rather than with signing volume. You pay only for the hours each instance runs, with no upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate for this listing actually cover?
The hourly rate covers Premium Support tied to the EC2 instance size running SignServer Enterprise Cloud Edition. You are billed for support based on which instance type you choose. The rate reflects that machine's compute capacity, not your signing volume or number of signing operations.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
The support charge meters running instance-hours. When an instance is fully stopped, software support charges stop accruing. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees, but those are separate from this listing's hourly support charge. You pay only for the hours each instance runs.
Does the hourly charge change if my signing volume grows?
No. Pricing scales with the instance family and size you select, not with signing throughput. You can sign code, PDF documents, XML, and other formats without the support charge changing per signature. To handle more volume, you move to a larger instance, which carries a higher hourly rate.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Retrieve Superadmin certificate via keystore URL at http://<ec2-instance-ip>/keystore. You will also be provided with a link to this from the base public IP address webpage. The username will be superadmin and the password will be the password you provided in the wizard in the previous step.
Download superadmin.p12 and import into FireFox under FireFox > Preferences > Privacy and Security > Certificates > View Certificates > Your Certificates > Import. The password to the p12 certificate file will be the Instance-ID. Click administration web link (or navigate to http://<ec2-instance-ip>/signserver/adminweb/) to start using SignServer.

What I would like best about KeyFactor SignServer is its agility taking in our demands so quick and also professional support with which we were able to develop / set up our signing system meeting our customer's demand even without enough knowledge of ours at the beginning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot blame KeyFactor, however since your pace of updating software is so fact that we cannot keep the existing version of SignServer software on our customer's environment and need to upgrade it a few months after its launch that is not preferable for our customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Robust and high-security SignServer contributes to establishing a high-security system for our national iconic system of our government. Due to high confidentiality, I cannot explain its details, but data issuing from the system needs to be securely signed to achieve high authenticity and without SignServer we would have had a hard time in materializing it.
