Identity - Define what role the application can claim, what authority it has, and which environments it can operate in.

What counts as one evaluation for billing purposes?
An evaluation is a single policy check on an AI agent's action, such as a tool call, data access, or identity decision. The engine makes an allow or deny decision per action. Each decision counts as one evaluation against your monthly included amount.
What happens if I exceed the included monthly evaluations in my tier?
On StarterPack, evaluations are denied fail-closed at the 10,000 cap, with no overage charges. On Essentials and Professional, service continues past the cap. Extra usage is billed automatically in fixed evaluation blocks. Enterprise has no caps and no overage.
Which drives my cost — the number of agents or evaluation volume?
Your tier is set by both agent count and included evaluations together. The tier fee covers agents up to its limit and included evaluations. On Essentials and Professional, evaluation volume above the cap adds block charges, so heavy usage can raise cost beyond the base tier fee.

Usage instructions
Quick Start (5 minutes):
Click Continue to Subscribe, then Continue to Configuration, select your region, and Continue to Launch with Launch CloudFormation.
Fill in the required parameter: LlmApiKey - your Groq API key (get one free at console.groq.com).
Check the IAM capability box and click Create Stack. Takes about 5 minutes.
Once CREATE_COMPLETE, go to Outputs tab. Copy the ApiEndpoint URL and QuickStart curl command (includes your API token).
Create a policy file (my-agent.soe.json) defining identity, data access, and tool action constraints.
Run your agent through docker-soe:

Your agent runs unmodified. All outbound HTTP is transparently intercepted by the SOE sidecar and evaluated against your policy.

Troubleshooting:
Stack creation fails: Check the Events tab in CloudFormation. The stack auto-discovers your default VPC and public subnets.
Agent gets denied unexpectedly: Check your .soe.json policy. Use the /v1/simulate endpoint to test calls before enforcing.
LLM key errors: Your key is stored in AWS Secrets Manager. Update it there without redeploying.
