Swayam bills you based on usage, offering two pricing tiers. Each tier charges a monthly minimum or a per-instance rate, whichever is higher. This means you pay the flat minimum if you run few instances, or scale up to per-instance charges as your instance count grows. The first tier applies a lower monthly minimum and per-instance rate. The second tier applies a higher monthly minimum and per-instance rate. You can upgrade tiers at any time, with the change taking effect from your next billing cycle.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
An instance is a single cloud resource that the platform monitors and manages, such as a running compute server in your cloud account. Each instance counts once toward the per-instance rate. The platform totals your instances to compare against the monthly minimum.
The platform compares two amounts each month: the flat monthly minimum and your per-instance total. You pay whichever is higher. If your instance count stays low, the minimum applies. As instances grow past the break-even point, the per-instance total takes over.
The two dimensions provided do not specify how stopped or paused instances are counted. Billing works on your instance count against the monthly minimum. To confirm whether powered-off instances count toward the per-instance total, contact the vendor.
