Overview
Techex tx.darwin UI
This is an example workflow for lightweight origination of a World feed, with both redundancy switching and content replacement, as well as SCTE-35 insertion.
Designed for hybrid and pure Cloud software workflows, tx darwin offers a secure and flexible live media processing, transport & monitoring micro-service based platform to solve key requirements within critical contribution, mezzanine and distribution workflows.
As broadcast workflows fully embrace the Cloud to deliver increased agility and accelerated innovation cycles the new generation of Cloud native media software must be engineered to Cloud native principles whilst doubling down on the precision of our broadcast heritage. These are the principles on which tx darwin is crafted.
Highlights
- Seamless switching of non-identical MPEG-TS streams, without re-encoding of mezzanine video signals.
- Fully fledged SCTE-35 transformation and insertion engine with support for all elements of the specification, as well as critical control integrations, such as ESAM and ESNI.
- Developing toolset for uncompressed media handling including standards conversion, HTML5 GFX keying and codec interchange.
