The Diffusion Data distribution framework enables you to control the end-to-end flow of data within your business solutions. For real-time data consumers, our solution offers the edge needed for informed decisions.
Diffusion is a pub-sub cache server based on WebSocket technologies, letting clients keep a connection open and get notified of state changes instead of polling for updates. Minimises traffic flow with minimal latency. Diffusion enables end-to-end data flow securely and at scale. The key differentiators for Diffusion are: - Unified Deployment: Flexibly choose on-premises, cloud or hybrid deployment. - Adaptive Integration: Seamlessly connect to your data sources with our adapter framework that provides 80% of the production-ready code. - Security: precise role-based access control and data filtering that enables hyper-personalisation of data streams. - Low-code Excellence: Use expressive data transformation rules to simplify solutions while minimising complexity, saving costs and reducing the number 3rd party external services to operate and be maintained.
Highlights
Scalability and Power: High performance, low bandwidth, and delivery of scalable, future proofed, solutions.
Agile and Customer-Driven: Anticipating needs, delivering forward-thinking solutions.
Efficiency and Personalisation: Delivering tailored data streams for personalised impact.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract charges on two separate usage measures. You pay for the number of vCPUs your deployment uses. You also pay for peak concurrent connections, meaning the highest number of clients connected at one time. These two dimensions are independent, so you scale each one to match your workload. More processing capacity raises the vCPU count. More simultaneous client sessions raises the connection count. Together they let you size the real-time data server to your compute needs and your connection demand under a contract commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one peak concurrent connection for billing?
A peak concurrent connection is one client session connected to the server at the busiest moment. Web browsers, mobile apps, and IoT devices each count as one connection while active. Billing tracks the highest number connected at any single point during your measured period, not the total sessions over time.
Which measure drives most of my cost — vCPUs or peak concurrent connections?
Both measures bill independently and add together on one invoice. Connection-heavy workloads with millions of clients tend to push the peak concurrent connection count. Processing-heavy workloads with transformation, filtering, or high message rates raise the vCPU count. You size each measure separately to match your actual demand.
Does the connection charge track my average traffic or a single busy moment?
The charge follows peak concurrent connections, meaning the highest number of clients connected simultaneously. A short spike during a busy event can set your peak even if traffic is lower most of the time. Average or total session counts do not drive this measure.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
