Websoft9 Applications Hosting Platform for Superset (Debian)
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you choose to run this Superset hosting platform. Pricing is usage-based, so charges depend on how long each instance runs. The many dimensions represent different EC2 instance sizes and families, from small general-purpose types like t2.nano and t2.medium to large compute, memory, storage, and GPU-focused instances like c5.18xlarge, r5.24xlarge, x1e.32xlarge, and p3.16xlarge. Larger instances offer more compute, memory, or specialized resources and bill at higher hourly rates. You select the instance that fits your workload and scaling needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate cover, and are separate AWS compute charges added on top?
The hourly rate covers the pre-configured Superset hosting software running on your chosen EC2 instance. You also pay standard AWS charges for the underlying EC2 instance and any storage. The software fee and AWS infrastructure fee appear together, both metered by the hour the instance runs.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges accrue only while the instance is running. A stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software fee. You may still pay underlying AWS storage costs for the stopped instance's disk, but the software meter tracks running hours only.
If I need more capacity, do I switch instance types, and how does that affect my bill?
You move to a different instance type, such as from a general-purpose type to a compute-, memory-, storage-, or GPU-focused one. This is a manual choice at launch. Larger instances bill at higher hourly rates. Your cost reflects the instance type you run and its running hours.
