Overview
XYB is the Adaptive Financial Infrastructure company. The AFI Platform runs on AWS and orchestrates the systems you already own, so you add AI and real-time capabilities without migration risk.
Legacy cores were built for batch processing and siloed product lines, not real-time operations or agentic AI. Point solutions and cloud modernization projects promise change but deliver fragmentation. Adaptive Financial Infrastructure (AFI) is a new infrastructure category for banking orchestration, unifying systems, people, and processes on one substrate. It orchestrates the systems banking depends on - AI systems, payment rails, data platforms, legacy cores, ledgers, channels - as one, without replacing what already works.
The AFI Platform is built in three layers:
- Experience Layer (White-Label): the financial institution's end-customer-facing surface, branded as the bank's own product. Renders XYB Solutions (Adaptive Digital Banking, Commercial Treasury Solution) and offerings your teams compose from the Capabilities beneath. XYB invisible to the end customer.
- Orchestration Layer (Event-Native): where banking orchestration happens. Apache Kafka event bus as the orchestration substrate; Apache Iceberg lakehouse for real-time data unification. Groupings of services deliver named Capability Elements (Ledger, Payments, FX Engine, Onboarding, KYC).
- Runtime Layer (Container-First): microservices on Kubernetes with Terraform-managed infrastructure, running natively on AWS.
Why financial institutions choose XYB:
- No replacement: deploys alongside existing systems with no migration risk or operational disruption.
- Adapt at Speed: reach first production value in weeks, not years, on proven infrastructure.
- Operate in Context: real-time context unification for humans and AI agents; unified state, not fragmented portals.
- Scale with Control: every event carries state, consequence, and control at event speed; audit trails, approval logic, and compliance built into every transaction.
- Pick and compose: build any banking product on shared event-native building blocks, configured and extended by your teams in real time, not by a vendor roadmap.
- Proven: Orchestrating 1M+ transactions per minute in production. SOC 2 Type II attested. ISO 27001 certified.
A decade of continuous development on an event-native architecture: events as the paradigm at every layer, not retrofitted onto a batch core. Two Solutions ship on the AFI Platform today: Adaptive Digital Banking (ADB) for retail and SMB digital banking, and the Commercial Treasury Solution (CTS) for financial institutions serving mid-market commercial customers. The Platform is open to what comes next: new Solutions on the roadmap, and offerings your teams compose. Start with a single Capability, prove value fast, then deploy, expand, and modernize on your own timeline.
