AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Pricing follows tiered plans based on the number of protected units you monitor. You start with a 7-day Free Trial offering unlimited units and users. Paid plans scale by protected unit count: Starter covers 0-5, Basic 6-15, Standard 16-40, Plus 41-100, and Enterprise 101-200. Every plan includes unlimited users. If you exceed a plan's included units, you add protected units at a per-unit monthly rate that varies by plan group. An optional add-on covers policy creation and security plan review. You commit under a contract term.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one protected unit for billing purposes?
A protected unit is a cloud resource that the platform monitors and scans for security and configuration issues. Each plan includes a set number of these monitored resources. You can add more resources beyond the included count at a per-unit monthly rate.
What happens if I exceed the protected units included in my plan?
You add extra protected units at a per-unit monthly rate. That rate depends on your plan group. Trial and Starter plans use one rate, Basic, Standard and Plus use another, and Enterprise uses a separate rate. Only the additional units carry the per-unit charge.
How do the plan fee, additional unit charges, and the policy add-on combine on my bill?
Your base plan covers its included protected units. Any units beyond that count add a per-unit monthly charge. The optional policy creation and security plan review is a separate line item. These charges bill independently and appear together on the same invoice.
