You buy this e-signature product as a contract covering a set number of electronic signatures. Eight paid plans scale by signature volume, from 25,000 signatures up to 5,000,000 signatures. Each plan bundles a fixed pool of signatures, so you pick the tier that matches your expected sending volume. Higher plans hold larger signature counts under one commitment. A separate free trial gives you 15 signatures for 30 days, letting you test the signing process before you commit. The plans differ only by included signature quantity, not by billing method.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one electronic signature for billing purposes?
Each signing operation counts as one signature transaction. A document sent to several signers uses one signature per signer, since each person completes a separate signing event. The plan pool draws down as each signer finishes, so multi-signer documents consume multiple signatures from your included count.
What happens if I use all the signatures in my plan before the term ends?
If you consume your full signature pool, additional signatures bill under the conditions of the plan you bought. Unused signatures expire at the end of your plan period and do not roll over. Plans renew automatically on the anniversary date, restoring the included signature count.
Does moving to a higher plan happen automatically, or do I choose the tier upfront?
You select the plan that matches your expected signature volume when you buy. Plans do not auto-upgrade based on usage. To move to a plan with more signatures, you pick the tier you want. Each plan bundles a fixed pool, so choosing the right volume upfront matters.
