You pay by the hour for a preconfigured WildFly application server running on Amazon Linux 2023. Pricing is not tiered by feature. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance type, and your rate depends only on the instance you choose. The list spans general-purpose families (m4, m5, m6, m7) and burstable families (t2, t3), from small sizes up to bare-metal instances. Larger instances with more compute, memory, and networking cost more per hour. You add AWS EC2 infrastructure charges separately. Billing stops when you stop running the instance, so cost scales with actual runtime.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit actually give me?
Each hourly unit is one running EC2 instance of the chosen type, preloaded with the WildFly Java application server on Amazon Linux 2023. You pay for each hour that instance runs. Running two instances of the same type doubles the software charge for that period.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
The software charge meters running time only. When you stop the instance, the hourly software fee stops accruing. Underlying AWS storage or other infrastructure fees may still apply while the instance is stopped. Cost scales with actual runtime, not with the calendar.
What drives my total cost besides the software rate?
Two charges combine on your invoice. The Neodoo software rate depends on the instance type you select. Separately, AWS bills its own EC2 infrastructure charge for that instance. Larger instance families and sizes raise both charges. Both accrue per hour the instance runs.
