What is our primary use case?
I use Anaconda Business day-to-day, with the main tool being Jupyter Notebook, which I have on my computer for cleaning and extracting data.
I extract data from Excel using Anaconda Business and clean this data, organizing it with Jupyter Notebook for exploration and an initial view. I use it to make some KPIs and feed some databases and dashboards.
What is most valuable?
The best features Anaconda Business offers in my experience are the environment and the library, which provide more comfort and reliability.
Anaconda Business has a lot of libraries to work with, and this makes my day easier.
Anaconda Business has impacted my organization positively by centering all that we need in a unique tool.
What needs improvement?
Anaconda Business could be improved by being more integrated with new CLI tools like Cloud Code or Codex.
For how long have I used the solution?

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Anaconda Business is wrapping our AI applications for security research, such as using Anaconda containers for running any of the products.
A specific example of how I use Anaconda Business for AI applications and security is that we have used it to filter vulnerabilities, which is used to automatically block open-source packages that contain or have been exposed to any CVEs. We also use it for signature verifications of various Python-originated languages to prevent unauthorized code injection or block injection attacks completely in our own use case and software.
I can outline the specific use case with Anaconda Business; I have been using it for a local development environment, build safety pipelines, and integrating it with LangChain to produce an extract of process data extraction on the telemetry data that is usually stored for any of the scene setups.
How has it helped my organization?
Anaconda Business has positively impacted my organization by bringing productivity for cybersecurity compliance and bringing financial efficiency for our clients.
What is most valuable?
In my experience, the best features Anaconda Business offers include the ability to bring containerization. Its containers contain various environments without affecting the other environment itself, which is the best use case. The other feature is establishing proper supply chain management and the ability to deploy any library.
Regarding how the supply chain management and content session features benefit my workflow or team, we have been able to deploy any library. The benefits of the features of Anaconda Business include that it is an enterprise AI data science ecosystem where Anaconda Business platform usually navigates itself, which will give a GUI interface that could be connected to local LLM or the APIs with small dependency. Mini-Conda, a lighter version, can be used for custom-built Python environments, but underlying it is C++. It can be used for analytics and anything in even the financial sectors and financial department. The main thing is that any of the modern systems are using tools or integrating with the applications.
What needs improvement?
The major thing that needs to be improved about Anaconda Business is to be in an AI orchestrational space, and it needs to be more compatible with C++ for highlighting lightning-fast financial tool cases and financial tools, or building those tools. Specifically, you need a massive memory footprint and some amount of data storage, or it could be providing a bit cheaper and fixing the complex things that we could develop within manually.

I have been using Anaconda Business for around one year.

In my experience, Anaconda Business is quite stable.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a data scientist and use Anaconda Platform for all my work on my local machine. It's a great all-in-one location where I can use Spyder, Jupyter notebooks, and more—all in the same place. I love that everything is downloaded together at once; I don't need to download and maintain separate versions of Python, Spyder, etc. It's easy to set up, with steps to guide you through. Overall, it's a great tool for data science and analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if it exists, but there should be cloud compute support for Anaconda. I choose to do my work in the cloud so that I can deploy a GPU if needed, since my local doesn't have that. That would really make Anaconda more powerful and more useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Anaconda Platform is a great all-in-one location for data science work, letting me use Spyder and Jupyter notebooks in the same place without the need to download separate versions.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the Anaconda AI Platform very easy to use for data science workflows, which is great for both learning and experimenting. Its enterprise pricing plans are quite affordable and ideal for my needs. I appreciate that it has integrated tooling, notebooks, package managers, interpreters, and all the main libraries already in place, making it very useful for building workflows and practicing skills. It's also accessible for beginners and students who are learning data science and AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yes. The interface could be made more user friendly because right now it's a bit hard to get used to at first. And, also, it's very heavy and resource intensive, I would say. And the free tier is limited as well. So that could be improved. Those problems could be solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Anaconda AI Platform to learn Python and improve my coding skills. It solves the problem of experimentation and helps me build small systems for my data science lessons. It's easy to use for learning data science workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
Anaconda has been very useful in resolving some of the current issues that were accruing in the environment setup, dependency management, and other tool-related issues. Previously, setting up the environment has been tedious; however, with Anaconda, this has been made very easy, allowing me to concentrate on data analysis rather than constantly fighting with setup issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is something that I dislike about Anaconda, however. One feature that I dislike is that sometimes the site can be a bit heavy, especially at times of startup or updating. Conflicts in packages still occur, albeit rarely. At times, resolving these could take extra time. The variety of features could be overwhelming to new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaconda AI Platform helps with various challenges like dependency conflicts, environmental issues, or dealing with several Python libraries. Prior to the usage of Anaconda AI Platform, a great deal of effort went into resolving environmental issues or having to re-install various packages. At the moment, the experience is much neater and conducive, which is helpful because it saves me time and helps me focus on data analyses.
