AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you launch. Pricing is not tiered by feature; every instance runs the same ready-to-use MQ on Windows image. The many options map to Amazon EC2 instance families and sizes, spanning general-purpose, compute, memory, and storage-optimized types. Larger instances with more vCPUs cost more per hour. You choose the size that fits your workload, and you pay only while the instance runs. You can run any number of instances, each billed at its own hourly rate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate cover for each instance I launch?
The hourly rate covers the right to run that instance, standard support, and the license for both the IBM MQ on Windows software and MidVision software. You pay for each hour, or part of an hour, that the instance runs. Charges match the vCPU count of the instance type you choose.
Am I charged when an instance is stopped, for example a standby or disaster recovery setup?
You only pay for launched, running instances. When an instance is in the stopped state, you pay nothing for the software. This makes standby uses like disaster recovery cost little until the instance is started. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply separately from the software charge.
If I run several instances at once, how are they billed?
There is no limit on the number of instances you can run. Each instance is billed independently at the hourly rate for the instance type you selected. Running larger instance types with more vCPUs costs more per hour. Your total bill adds up each running instance's own hourly charge.
