Cloud services have enabled secure AI‑driven modernization and improved cost outcomes

    Reviewed on Jul 24, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

The main use cases I see my clients using DXC Cloud Services  for are application modernization, re-platforming, and shifting from on-premises solutions into the cloud.

Regarding application modernization, those are typically applications that have been grown over decades, where customers decide to initiate a modernization. As of today, modernization efforts very often leverage AI tools to support the shift from the old on-premises, private cloud, or other solutions to a modern cloud-based, AI-generated software environment.

    What is most valuable?

The best features DXC Cloud Services  offers, based on my experience selling it, are stability, security, and sovereignty.

The topics of security and sovereignty stand out as top features for DXC Cloud Services because they are at the very top of all decision-makers in the industry at the moment, especially with respect to what is ongoing in the markets and developments in North America. This puts a high emphasis and priority on security, but also sovereignty to ensure that data stays local where it is intended to stay and that no one who should not have access to that data and those solutions has access.

DXC Cloud Services has positively impacted my organization and my clients' organizations in terms of two important elements: stability and the commercial aspect in terms of providing a commercially attractive solution.

The commercial aspect of DXC Cloud Services provides a commercially attractive solution through outcome-based solutions where I orient the solution to the customer on the basis of their business KPIs and make that outcome-based. By doing that, I am typically able to provide attractive solutions.

    What needs improvement?

At the moment, there is nothing specific that comes to mind about how DXC Cloud Services can be improved. I think the most important thing is to sustain with sovereignty and security.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have not been using DXC Cloud Services myself. I have been selling it to the market.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    DXC Cloud Services is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of DXC Cloud Services is very good. I do not see any limits there, and they fully cover the market.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for DXC Cloud Services is good.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have been extensively working with AWS  and also with Google Cloud  Services, which are the two other main partners I previously used before choosing DXC Cloud Services.

    How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for DXC Cloud Services is that it is fairly competitive. The setup is good.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment with DXC Cloud Services, and I would definitely say money saved in the area of 10 to 30 percent.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing DXC Cloud Services, I did evaluate other options, specifically the ones that I mentioned.

What other advice do I have?

The security aspect, and that includes AI, is addressed and provided in a fine manner.

Regarding the accuracy and reliability of output of DXC Cloud Services' AI capabilities, I would say it is fairly competitive with the other providers in the market. I have not tested it in all areas and may not have a fully comprehensive overview, but it is fine.

My advice to others looking into using DXC Cloud Services is to focus on the AI capabilities and how to leverage that with new modern platform solutions.

I gave this review a rating of 9 out of 10.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Cloud services have modernized legacy apps and now deliver secure multi-cloud governance

    Reviewed on Jun 17, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

As a point of the enterprise, my main use case for DXC Cloud Services  is that we move, build, and run workloads on AWS , Azure , and Google Cloud  and private hybrid clouds.

One of the specific examples of a project where DXC Cloud Services  made a difference for my team is the United Airlines legacy app modernization.

Another example related to BAE Systems comes to my mind, where the problem was that 110,000 employees across defense projects needed secure, scalable IT.

    What is most valuable?

In terms of the features that actually stand out in DXC Cloud Services, the first one is the CSO, which means cloud service orchestration.

Another feature that I would like to mention is FinOps and cost governance baked in, which helps avoid bill shock.

The positive impacts that we see by using DXC Cloud Services include speed as the first one.

After using DXC Cloud Services, built-in SOC, built-in ISO under a different model such as 27017, zero-trust, and unified governance across multi-cloud make audits easier.

In terms of governance and security of DXC Cloud Services, they wrap AI into their cloud services with a heavy focus on enterprise governance.

    What needs improvement?

Based on some of the feedback from our employees, there are main areas where DXC Cloud Services could improve, including speed and agility with hyperscalers.

One improvement I would suggest about DXC Cloud Services is for cost transparency, to give teams more granular, real-time cost drill-down.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using DXC Cloud Services for the last four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I don't have visibility into my organization's uptime logs but I haven't faced any stability issues with DXC Cloud Services.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

DXC Cloud Services can be easily scaled up or down; the scalability depends on the service you are using.

How are customer service and support?

I have experience with DXC Cloud Services' customer support, which operates 24/7.

For customer support of DXC Cloud Services, I will give an 8 out of 10.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before using DXC Cloud Services, we initially relied on on-prem data centers but switched due to high capex and hard scalability.

    How was the initial setup?

Regarding the pricing model for DXC Cloud Services, it is usually managed services with consumption.

    What about the implementation team?

We are a reseller, and we are using the DXC services provided by DXC itself.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment with DXC Cloud Services, especially in terms of time saved and improved efficiency.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We purchased DXC Cloud Services from the AWS Marketplace , which offers benefits such as consolidated billing.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

When choosing DXC Cloud Services, we evaluated other options such as IBM Consulting, HCLTech, and Accenture.

What other advice do I have?

In terms of accuracy and reliability of DXC Cloud Services for AI capabilities, I want to add that DXC does not train its own LLMs such as GPT-4.

I advise others looking into DXC Cloud Services to be honest about why they are choosing it versus AWS  or Azure  directly.

I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

    Amazon Web Services (AWS)
