AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract covers the Text Classification API, which tags text into categories like business, sports, or politics. Pricing scales by monthly request volume across three usage tiers: Basic, Growth, and Scale. Each tier caps the number of API requests you can send per month, so you pick the tier that matches your expected volume. A Custom Usage option bills per API request when the fixed tiers don't fit your needs. A separate Integration involvement dimension covers hands-on setup help from the vendor. These dimensions let you match your commitment to both request volume and support needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one request in the Basic, Growth, and Scale tiers?
One request is a single call to the Text Classification API, sending a body of text for tagging. The API returns percentage scores across categories like business, sports, or politics. Each tier caps how many of these calls you can make per month.
What happens if my monthly requests exceed my tier's cap?
Each fixed tier limits requests per month, so you should choose a tier that matches expected volume. If your usage does not fit the fixed caps, the Custom Usage dimension bills per API request instead. For questions about handling overages within a tier, contact the vendor.
How does the Integration involvement charge combine with the request tiers?
The request tiers or Custom Usage cover API call volume. The Integration involvement dimension is separate and covers hands-on setup help from the vendor. These bill independently, so you can add setup support alongside whichever volume option you pick. Both appear on the same invoice.
