RUBICONSmartCity (TM) helps city governments run waste and recycling operations faster, smarter, and more effectively. Through our patented technology, our smartphone app tracks metrics such as vehicle location, route completion and service confirmations in real time. It empowers drivers to document important information like blocked bins, contaminated recycling, and other issues. All of this information is fed directly back to a secure website for supervisors and dispatchers to evaluate and assess issues in real time. The features include:
-Service Confirmations (for all truck types, with exact time and location, without human interaction) -Vehicle Tracking (Automatic Vehicle Location AVL GPS) -Navigation (turn by turn directions to specific points, disposal facilities, and a return to route) -Driver Information (hours, miles driven) -Vehicle Information, Safety and Maintenance (including speeding and hard driving) -Real Time Route Management -Integration (RFID, CRM / 311, Cameras) -Waste Collection Route Issue / Incident Identification (including taking pictures, flagging locations, etc.) -Urban Data Collection (including air quality sensing, pothole detection, vacant home cataloging, etc.)

A service location is a physical site where waste and recycling services occur, such as a store, facility, or building you operate. The flat fee covers your total location footprint. You enter 1 for this dimension because it applies as a single fee regardless of how many locations you have.
The two charges add together on the same contract. You pay one flat fee tied to your service locations, plus a per-truck rate multiplied by the number of trucks in your fleet. Both amounts appear together. Fleet size drives the truck portion, which grows as you add trucks.
The per-truck rate applies to the total number of trucks you enter. Adding trucks increases that portion of your cost, since each truck is billed at the same rate. You set the count when you configure the contract, so your total reflects the fleet size you specify.
