A governed AI answer engine that routes each query down a capability ladder - deterministic execution, local open-weight model, or your own frontier API key on overflow - so you pay frontier rates only for the traffic that genuinely needs them. Every answer carries a governance receipt, a latency decomposition, and its own cost record.
Sending every query to a frontier API pays frontier prices for work that mostly does not need a frontier model. Titan Answer by SignalBrain is a governed inference engine that classifies each query and routes it down a capability ladder: deterministic execution for math, recall, and structured tasks; local open-weight models for standard reasoning; and your own frontier API key only for the overflow that genuinely requires it.
HOW THE CAPABILITY LADDER WORKS
A governor component inspects each inbound query and assigns it to the cheapest execution path capable of producing a correct, governed answer:
Deterministic lane - math, structured lookups, and recall tasks are handled by rule-based executors with zero model invocation.
Local model lane - standard reasoning queries run on open-weight models in the serving infrastructure.
Frontier overflow lane - only queries that exceed local capability are forwarded to your own Anthropic or other frontier API key, under the same governance chain.
The route decision is recorded on every answer, so you can audit which lane served each response.
WHAT SHIPS WITH EVERY ANSWER
Governance receipt: authorization verdict, evidence used, and abstention as a first-class recorded outcome. The engine says it does not have grounds for an answer instead of guessing.
Latency decomposition: a per-answer breakdown showing where the time was spent.
Cost record: a per-call model ledger priced from actual invocations, so your real cost-per-answer is telemetry you can query rather than a spreadsheet you rebuild.
Route decision: an explicit record of which lane served the query.
HOW THE ECONOMICS WORK
You pay frontier rates only for the slice of traffic that reaches the overflow lane; the rest runs at local-compute cost. The engine records the split, so route mix and cost-per-answer are visible in your own telemetry from day one and the cost profile is checkable against your workload rather than ours.
GETTING STARTED
After subscribing through AWS Marketplace, AWS confirms your entitlement and you configure your frontier API key for the overflow lane. The serving endpoint exposes strict readiness gates: it reports ready only when the engine is actually able to serve governed answers. Integration is via REST calls to the serving endpoint. An answer counts against your subscription tier only when it reaches a governed terminal receipt; platform-caused errors are not billable.
SECURITY AND DATA HANDLING
Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher in transit. AWS Marketplace customer and agreement records are encrypted at rest with a rotating customer-managed AWS KMS key, and the Marketplace purchase token is never persisted or logged. Your bring-your-own frontier API key is used exclusively for overflow calls you configure, within the same governance and evidence chain. No resources are deployed into your AWS account. WHO IT IS FOR
Teams running high-volume AI answering - support, internal knowledge, analytics narration, agent backends - who need frontier quality available, governance on every answer, and an inference bill that scales with difficulty instead of volume.
SUBSCRIPTION TIERS
Starter (100,000 governed answers), Professional (500,000), and Enterprise (2,500,000). Tiers are enforced by the AWS Marketplace entitlement response, never by application-side limits.

Highlights
Capability-ladder routing cuts inference cost: each query is classified and sent to the cheapest capable path - deterministic execution, local open-weight model, or your own frontier API key on overflow. The route decision is recorded on every answer. You pay frontier rates only for traffic that genuinely requires frontier capability; the rest runs at local-compute cost, and the split is visible in your telemetry from day one.
Every answer carries auditable governance artifacts: a governance receipt (authorization verdict, evidence used, and abstention as a first-class outcome), a latency decomposition, and a cost record priced from the actual model ledger. Quality, compliance, and spend are auditable per individual answer without rebuilding data from external spreadsheets.
Frontier quality without frontier-blanket spend: your own Anthropic or other API key serves the hard slice under the same governance chain and evidence trail, so capability is never capped - only spend is. Strict readiness gates ensure the endpoint reports ready only when it can actually serve governed answers, and only governed terminal receipts count against your AWS Marketplace entitlement.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.

100,000 governed answer units with governance receipts, route decisions, latency spans, model-call records, optional buyer-controlled frontier overflow, and standard support.
$499.00
Answer Professional
500,000 governed answer units with governance receipts, route decisions, latency spans, model-call records, operational route analytics, and priority support.
$1,499.00
Answer Enterprise
2,500,000 governed answer units with governance receipts, route decisions, latency spans, model-call records, multi-node deployment support, and named onboarding.
You buy governed answer units in three contract tiers that scale by volume. Answer Starter includes 100,000 units, Answer Professional 500,000 units, and Answer Enterprise 2,500,000 units. All three record governance receipts, route decisions, latency spans, and model-call records on each answer. As you move up, added items appear: Professional adds operational route analytics and priority support; Enterprise adds multi-node deployment support and named onboarding. Support level and included capabilities scale with the tier you select. Choose the tier that matches your expected answer volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one governed answer unit for billing?
A unit counts only when an answer reaches a governed terminal receipt: answered, bounded, or abstained-with-evidence. Platform-caused errors are not billable. Each terminal receipt draws down one unit, regardless of which route served it.
Am I charged extra for queries that reach the frontier overflow lane?
The overflow lane uses your own frontier API key, so those model costs bill directly to your frontier account, not through your unit tier. The governed answer still draws one unit against your tier when it reaches a terminal receipt.
What happens if I use more answers than my tier includes?
Tiers are enforced by AWS Marketplace entitlement once the listing is live. Each tier includes a fixed unit count. To handle more volume, you move to a tier with a higher included count that matches your expected answer volume.

Vendor refund policy
Customers may request cancellation and a prorated refund within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase if fewer than 10% of the included monthly units have been consumed. Renewal charges and usage beyond that threshold are non-refundable, except where required by law or when SignalBrain confirms a material service failure. Email alan@signalbrain.ai with the AWS account ID and agreement ID. This policy is subject to the final offer terms.
