You pay by the hour for this Ubuntu 26 image with the GigaOps Security Agent. Pricing has no upfront commitment and follows usage. Each dimension matches one EC2 instance type, so your rate depends on the instance you launch. The list spans many families, including general purpose, compute, memory, storage, GPU, and high-memory types. Larger sizes within a family carry higher hourly rates, since they provide more compute and memory. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and billing tracks the hours each running instance uses.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get for the hourly rate on each instance type?
You get the Ubuntu 26 operating system with the GigaOps Security Agent installed, running on the EC2 instance type you pick. The image includes updates, firewalls, and network protocols. Each dimension maps to one instance type, so the hourly rate reflects that instance's compute and memory.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
The software rate meters running hours only. A stopped or paused instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. You may still owe underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volumes, but those are separate from this listing's per-hour software cost.
How do I choose between the many instance-type dimensions listed?
Each dimension bills one EC2 instance type per hour. Your rate depends only on the instance you launch. Larger sizes within a family cost more per hour because they provide more compute and memory. Pick the family and size that fit your workload; billing tracks that instance's running hours.
