Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of a specific ARM (arm64) type. You get the AlmaLinux OS 9 image on that instance, plus support from Fifty Clouds. The vCPU and memory you receive depend on the instance size you pick, from nano up to bare-metal.
The software charge meters running instance-hours only. When you stop an instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume may still apply while the instance is stopped, but those are separate from the AlmaLinux OS 9 software rate.
Your rate is tied to the instance type you launch, not to a plan. Larger sizes carry more vCPU and memory and bill at higher hourly rates. Compute, memory, storage, high-performance, and graphics families each have their own rates. You are billed only for the type you run.

To connect to an AlmaLinux instance on AWS using SSH with the username 'ec2-user', you can follow these three steps: Open your Terminal or SSH Client: On your local system, open the terminal or SSH client of your choice. You can use the terminal on your operating system if you're on Linux or macOS, or an SSH client like PuTTY if you're on Windows. In the terminal, use the SSH command followed by the public IP address of your instance and the username 'ec2-user'. For example: ssh -i /path/to/your/private-key.pem ec2-user@your-public-ip-address Replace "your-public-ip-address" with the public IP address of your instance.
