What do you like best about the product?
Turbonomic is a tool that brings automations focused on infrastructures and FinOps and facilitates the creation of guardrails and good governance in the environment, whether cloud or on-premises. This is the first thing we think of when working with Turbonomic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Widgets and reports can be better handled, with the possibility of an ETL without using ThoughtSpot. And improve the SWAGGER documentation of the Turbonomic API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first item is IT governance, especially regarding K8s, which offers automated resizing options.

What do you like best about the product?
The AI driven resource optimisation is what help any developer the most to use and the implementation wise is also easy, and also can be very easy integrated to our projects. Have used this feature for more than 2-3 projects and they run everyday.

It is bit costly for mostly smaller IT teams and would be more helpful for support on first time onboarding

What I like best about IBM Turbonomic is its ability to automatically analyze real-time application demand and continuously make resource allocation decisions without manual intervention. It doesn't just generate alerts—it takes action based on policies, helping maintain performance while reducing overprovisioning and unnecessary cloud costs. The platform provides deep visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments and integrates seamlessly with tools like Kubernetes, VMware, Azure, and AWS. This level of automation and insight drastically improves operational efficiency and service reliability.
What do you dislike about the product?
While IBM Turbonomic is powerful, there are a few areas where it could improve.
First, the user interface can feel overwhelming—especially for new users or teams without prior AIOps experience. Navigating through dashboards and interpreting all the metrics can require a learning curve.
Second, while the platform offers strong automation, customizing those policies or integrating with external systems often needs scripting or more advanced configuration, which may not be ideal for less technical users.
Lastly, the pricing structure may not scale well for smaller organizations or teams with limited IT budgets.
