A Developer Observability Platform, helping Fortune 500 companies and individual developers alike connect to live applications and troubleshoot tough-to-crack issues locally, in staging and in production.
Lightrun is a developer observability platform that enables developers to securely add logs, metrics and traces to live applications in real time, on demand. No hotfixes, redeployments or restarts required.
Developers use Lightrun for multiple code-level observability needs, including: - Debugging live applications (local, QA, staging, production and production like env.) - Troubleshooting K8s workloads - Code flow investigation - Testing new features as part of progressive delivery workflows - Troubleshooting broken CI tests
By eliminating the need to reproduce bugs locally or issue a new software version for adding new logs or metrics to troubleshoot production issues, Lightrun's customers consistently reduce their MTTR by up to 50-60% and significantly improve development productivity. Issues that used to take 1-2 weeks to mitigate now take our customers on average less than an hour to solve. Lightrun empowers our customers' developers by eliminating the need for costly developer lifecycle operations like reproducing locally, or issuing a new software version just for adding new logs or metrics.
Our customers, running petabyte-scale workloads with QPS in the high 100Ks across thousands of production servers, include companies that reach 44.5% of the internet's population (see our case study with Taboola) and major, publicly-traded cybersecurity companies.
Lightrun supports on-premise, cloud, microservices, and serverless environments.
Lightrun supports Fortune 500 (including F10 companies), and was recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor in Observability and Cloud Operations.

Highlights
Developer-First: Lightrun integrates directly into the core of the developer's day-to-day work - the IDE - and enables the creation (and consumption) of logs, metrics and traces without constant context switches.
Enterprise-Ready: Lightrun has been battle-tested by Fortune 500 organizations with 100s of developers and 1000s of concurrently-running, Lightrun-infused processes.
On-Demand: Lightrun offers real-time observability, when and where you need it most. Instead of relying on the "log everything and analyze later" paradigm, Lightrun enables the instrumentation of logs, metrics and traces when they are needed - without any redeployments, hotfixes or restarts required.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing bundles several separate contract line items you combine to fit your needs. Two core capacity options price by agent count and included users: one covers 0-200 agents with 50 users, the other 200-400 agents with 75 users. Agents run in your applications to capture runtime data. You then add deployment options separately: Private Cloud, Single-Tenant, or On-Prem (which requires a professional services package). Single Sign-On integration is a standalone add-on. The Lightrun Enterprise line adds role-based access control, unlimited integrations, and PII redaction. Each dimension is priced independently, so you scale by selecting the pieces you require.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one agent for the capacity dimensions?
An agent is a sandboxed component that runs inside your applications. It captures snapshots, logs, metrics, and object-level state from running code on demand. Each agent stays inactive until you trigger an investigation. The 0-200 and 200-400 tiers count these installed agents against your included total.
Which dimension drives cost, agent capacity or the deployment and add-on line items?
The two capacity tiers price by agent count and included users, so they usually anchor your bill. Deployment options (Private Cloud, Single-Tenant, On-Prem) each bill as separate line items. Single Sign-On integration and the Lightrun Enterprise line add on independently. Every item bills at the same time on one contract.
What does the Lightrun Enterprise line add beyond the capacity tiers?
Lightrun Enterprise adds role-based access control, unlimited integrations, and PII redaction. Role-based access control sets which users or AI agents can instrument specific services. PII redaction hides sensitive data during investigations. Unlimited integrations remove caps on connected tools. You add this line separately from your agent capacity tier.
