You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. This listing supports up to 500 concurrent users, so pricing scales with the compute you choose, not per user. The options fall into two families. The t3 and t3a instances offer general-purpose compute across sizes from small to 2xlarge. The c5 and c5a instances offer compute-optimized power in large, xlarge, and 2xlarge sizes. Larger sizes carry higher hourly rates and handle heavier load. You match the instance to your expected traffic and stop billing when you stop the instance.

The software fee meters running time only. When you stop the instance, hourly software charges stop. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the stopped instance's volumes, but the software licence bills only while the instance runs.
No. You pay per instance-hour for the compute size you run, not per participant. This listing supports up to 500 concurrent users on your chosen instance. Adding participants within that limit does not change your hourly rate. Only switching to a different instance size changes the rate.
The t3 and t3a instances are general-purpose, balancing compute, memory, and network. The c5 and c5a instances are compute-optimized for processing-heavy load. Both bill per hour. You pick t-series for mixed use and c-series when video processing demand is steady and high.

The setup includes Jitsi Meet server and autoscalable Jitsi Video Bridges. This scripts using IAM role permission to push metrics to cloudwatch, communicate with sqs and terminate Jitsi Video Bridges for scaling in Jitsi Video Bridges

Usage instructions
Click the "View Purchase Options" button. After that, you will need to accept the terms and conditions. Click on "Accept Terms" to proceed. Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on "Continue to Configuration". Select your preferred region in "Configure this software" page and click "Continue to Launch" button. From the "Choose Action" dropdown menu, select "Launch CloudFormation", and then click "Launch". Fill the data and continue to deploy the product.
Access the application via a browser at http://<domain-name>. To generate SSL certificates first point dns to server, login to the instance and run certbot --nginx. To ssh, use port 22 and the username 'ubuntu'. Admin email is required for SSL generation. IAM role assigned to instances for push metrics to cloudwatch, communicate with sqs and terminate Jitsi Video Bridges for scaling in Jitsi Video Bridges.
